Black Lives Matter: Flames of Frustration

This is the first in a series I have been moved to create coming from the occurrences of this time in history. My heart hurts because of the damage that has been done to so many of our black brothers and sisters. What evolved in this piece is the fire of the anger during the first few days of the protests.

I retired in 2012 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After a long a wonderful career, I found myself twiddling my thumbs about what to do. I didn’t want to anything associated with my career. I wanted to challenge myself even more. I thought I’d start coloring in adult coloring books and after a while of people confirming I had a bit of talent, I decided to learn Procreate on my own. I haven’t learned all I can yet, but I love what I’m producing! Please enjoy it with me.
