I sit

Waiting for a spark

Of words

Words that should be flowing

But aren’t

Words that are in my heart

But are not reachable

By the grief

The endless grief of lost parents

And lost relationships

I sit

And wonder how life

Could get any better

I retired in 2012 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After a long a wonderful career, I found myself twiddling my thumbs about what to do. I didn’t want to anything associated with my career. I wanted to challenge myself even more. I thought I’d start coloring in adult coloring books and after a while of people confirming I had a bit of talent, I decided to learn Procreate on my own. I haven’t learned all I can yet, but I love what I’m producing! Please enjoy it with me.
